Structural features in the building include exposed insitu concrete cores to each of the three separate wings, thermally broken slabs, timber framing and concealed steelwork to support large cantilevers to both internally and externally. Considered offset beam detailing was incorporated to allow the architects to develop a thin 250mm fascia for a 4.3m roof cantilever directly over glass joinery to the main living wing.
