Government Agency Earthquake Assessments

Hadleys have undertaken seismic assessments for Government Agencies in the lower South Island.

Southland Schools Boiler Chimneys

Hadleys recently assessed the Boiler Chimneys at 15 Southland Schools for the Ministry of Education. The seismic strength and stability of each chimney was calculated, as well as an assessment of alternative flue arrangements and asbestos risk.  Options have been presented to the Ministry of Education for consultation, and a scope of works for structural improvements is to be confirmed.  Hadleys will project manage the upgrade works during 2014/15.
