Matakauri Lodge, Water and Wastewater Review and Upgrades

Matakauri Lodge is a five star boutique lodge located in Queenstown. Hadleys assisted with the assessment of existing water and wastewater infrastructure to resolve a number of issues. This included upgrading of the wastewater treatment and disposal facilities at the lodge. The key drivers for this upgrade project were the upcoming expansion of the accommodation facilities with the proposed Owner’s Cottage facility, the desire to treat wastewater to a high standard prior to subsurface disposal across the site and the need to increase capacity to cater for higher than anticipated peak flows.
