Hadley Consultants Ltd was established in Queenstown by James Hadley in 2000 to provide local clients with cost effective, practical and design focussed solutions.
Since establishment, the company has grown to become a boutique firm specialising in solving difficult problems. This reputation has attracted staff with a broad range of technical skills and interests who are committed to the lower South Island.
We undertake large scale utilities projects to minor house renovations and most things in between. While we are Queenstown based, we also deliver projects in Southland, Central Otago, Fiordland, Dunedin, Marlborough and the Mackenzie Basin.
The professional reputation of the firm has continued to grow and numerous commissions from large corporates and Territorial Authorities have resulted.
The company culture is focussed on excellent engineering solutions tailored to specific client needs. As staff have joined the company, they have identified with this culture and are encouraged to question and think independently to achieve different solutions. John McCartney
Infrastructure Manager
John heads the infrastructure team within the office. He is an experienced and senior Civil Engineer with over 20 years experience in Local Authority and Government Sector civil engineering projects. Since joining Hadleys, John has also gained extensive experience in both small and large scale private land development projects and wastewater treatment schemes.
