Hadley Consultants Ltd was established in Queenstown by James Hadley in 2000 to provide local clients with cost effective, practical and design focussed solutions.
Since establishment, the company has grown to become a boutique firm specialising in solving difficult problems. This reputation has attracted staff with a broad range of technical skills and interests who are committed to the lower South Island.
We undertake large scale utilities projects to minor house renovations and most things in between. While we are Queenstown based, we also deliver projects in Southland, Central Otago, Fiordland, Dunedin, Marlborough and the Mackenzie Basin.
The professional reputation of the firm has continued to grow and numerous commissions from large corporates and Territorial Authorities have resulted.
The company culture is focussed on excellent engineering solutions tailored to specific client needs. As staff have joined the company, they have identified with this culture and are encouraged to question and think independently to achieve different solutions. Alan Thomas
Structural Director
Alan is a Senior Structural Engineer with over 50 years experience in the Design and Construction consultancy fields. His experience has been in the areas of commercial, industrial and accommodation developments of all types for both Commercial Clients, Government Agencies and Local Authorities. He has also been associated with the structural aspects of Civil Engineering Projects and acts as a principal review engineer on projects.
